St. Patrick's Day

The last time I was in Ireland two years ago, my experience on St. Patrick's Day was very unfortunate. First of all it was the day that my parents were supposed to fly in, but due to a storm on the east coast of the US they couldn't fly until the next day. So my plans had to change quickly. I ended up going into Galway City to see the parade with a bunch of people from the college only to find myself getting horribly sick (with some sort of virus NOT from alcohol), enough so that I was crying from the pain. Needless to say this year Paddy's Day was a lot better. I went down to see the parade on O'Connell Street in town and met up with some people from work. We ended up staying out for a long long time joining in with all the festivities. It was a much more successful day than two years ago, and I have photos to prove it.

Emma, Leo, Me, Meghann, and Michelle.

Fun things in the parade.

King Kong was in the parade too.

The coolest of the bunch. It was all made of metal and the guy sitting on it could control the movement of the head and the snapping of the jaws. SOO COOL!

There were people wearing green climbing all over everything.

My return the next day after the fun adventures.

So wait. People in Ireland celebrate St. Patty's day in April? Weird.

jk

Yes, you really must come out to visit and we'll go camping.

Andy and Jake are coming up for Memorial Day weekend, for camping in the desert with 50+ gay boys. It'll be like spring break. It'll be epic.

WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK TO THE STATES?!
