St. Patrick's Day

The last time I was in Ireland two years ago, my experience on St. Patrick's Day was very unfortunate. First of all it was the day that my parents were supposed to fly in, but due to a storm on the east coast of the US they couldn't fly until the next day. So my plans had to change quickly. I ended up going into Galway City to see the parade with a bunch of people from the college only to find myself getting horribly sick (with some sort of virus NOT from alcohol), enough so that I was crying from the pain. Needless to say this year Paddy's Day was a lot better. I went down to see the parade on O'Connell Street in town and met up with some people from work. We ended up staying out for a long long time joining in with all the festivities. It was a much more successful day than two years ago, and I have photos to prove it.

Emma, Leo, Me, Meghann, and Michelle.

Fun things in the parade.

King Kong was in the parade too.

The coolest of the bunch. It was all made of metal and the guy sitting on it could control the movement of the head and the snapping of the jaws. SOO COOL!

There were people wearing green climbing all over everything.

My return the next day after the fun adventures.

Oops, It's Been a While

So I didn't forget there was a blog here, I just didn't have time to write on it. This all started when Jamie, my cousin, came to visit towards the middle/end of March. It also didn't help that I was sick for a month with I don't know what, a cold, bronchitis, laryngitis, etc. There were so many things that prevented me from writing on this here blog. Now, I have a lot of time but none at all.

Anyways, when Jamie was here we got to do a lot of touristy things around Dublin which was a lot of fun. Tour buses, the Guinness Storehouse, museums, we did it all... well not all, but most. I think she had fun while she was here, even though I was sick and tired for most of it. Here are some photos from our adventures in Dublin.
