So, I don't think I've done enough this summer, but I also think that if I had done anymore, I may have gone crazy. Started out with spring classes that lasted until June 23. Since then I've been trying to take it easy. Around the beginning of June I went to Marquette to visit family and a friend. It was great, because I didn't even take a book, nothing, just myself. I sat outside a lot, didn't to anything but every now and again would ride around in my uncle's convertable. On the last night I stayed with a friend that I haven't really seen in a long time, we had a lot of fun. At the beginning of July I went to Toronto with a bunch of friends and the fabulous Nick Tobier to be a part of WADE, an art festival held in a bunch of the wading pools in the parks scattered throughout the city. Basically we got to play in pools with all our clothes on, got free food, free room, free transportation and got paid for the weekend. It was definitly an experience. I think it convinced me to live in Toronto at some point in my life. The city's great, if you get the chance, go because it's the greatest. I loved just being able to walk around the city with nothing to do but look. The people were cool too. So since then, I haven't done much. Hung out with a few people, worked mostly. Bought some stuff. Yesterday I moved back home for a few weeks between leases. Quite a bit of my stuff is still in the apartment. It feels odd to be at home after almost a year on my own. Also my mattress here sucks and my back hurts. Yesterday I bought a new phone, it's the chocolate phone and really cool. Gadgets are fun, and that's my latest news. My birthday is coming up in about a week and I hope to have a bonfire. At least then I'll feel like I did something outdoorsy this summer. I'm only kind of looking forward to school starting, the classes will be cool, but the work will be hell. Friends will be awesome, I've had a definite lack of social life this summer and looking forward to that aspect of school.
Blogs aren't really my strong suit, but I'll try to keep up with this one.
